OCTOBER 2006 CALL TO PRAYER

I have felt a great stirring and burden in my heart for this nation and for the Korean Peninsula. We must all face the truth about Islam and the gathering storm clouds of WWIII looming over the horizon. But I feel a different threat, perhaps a test and wake-up call coming through the North Koreans and the Chinese. The Lord has had me praying over the Oval Office--I have seen the President's face in great stress, sorrow, and even fear.
I have been praying for him to have the wisdom of Solomon and to break the power of a divided cabinet, and that every force and influence that would not further the best interests of this nation, her safety, sovereignty, unity, and return to the Lord would be bound.
American Christians must face that the UN will do nothing substantive to protect us or stop the tide of Islam or insane dictators. America is the only block to global government--we must be neutralized militarily and weakened financially. I have long known in my heart that at least in the unseen realm, the spiritual rulers of Islam, Europe, and Communism were working behind the scene to undermine our economy, stretch our military, and influence our public policy through finances, treasonous politicians, and media madness.
There is a great global concert of darkness to blind, confuse, and spread this nation thin, both within and without our troubled borders. Next to Israel, we are the most hated and despised people on earth.
Pray that not only our political leaders, but Church leaders and Christians will not be polluted or confused by the misinformation going around this country and the world.
Expect to see world events move quickly, especially on the Korean Peninsula. China is about to show her true colors! There is going to be some kind of naval blockade--when this happens, our president is going to have to face the threat of military retaliation from China. He will have to make a decision to back down and let the nation slide further into acquiesence and appeasement, or take a stand and face the probablity of Chinese attack. The media has not reported threats the Chinese have made in the recent past--we are not the great allies Americans have been led to believe. This is sad, for the everyday Chinese people are emerging from centuries of economic and cultural oppression. Much of our industrial and manufacturing might has been sold to China by greedy politicians and capitalists.
I believe our nation will have to face nuclear blackmail shortly from the Chinese. My heart's cry is that our president and his cabinet will unify and do what is right in the long run and stand in what would further the future peace and stablity of our nation and the world. The propaganda that passes off as media and policy astound me.
About three years ago, I was reading the book of Nahum one night; as I was reading the third chapter, I had a very disturbing vision:
I was standing with a large crowd in front of an old art-deco style Chinese theater--lights and cameras were everywhere, like the opening night of a much-heralded movie or the debut of a star. There was much mumuring and anticipation--the theatre was situated higher than where we all were waiting for this event to occur and we stood below the facade at the bottom of the sloping runway. A red carpet was rolled out and the crowd grew silent with all peering intently into the recessed entrance--the hush intensified....suddenly the cry began,
"She's coming! She's coming!"
Seemingly suddenly, but deliberately and with well-calculated grace, the most stunningly beautiful Oriental woman I have ever seen turned the corner into plain view. She was dressed in every silk and satin the opulence of the emperors of the Far East could ever have mustered, her hair an intricate classical art form layered with jewels and pearls--she was exquisitely chiseled and beyond compare. Her face was totally devoid of any emotion, her dark eyes sharp as a razor. She stood regally straight and poised....
A corporate gasp went up--her beauty and wealth were unexpected. The cameras began to flash and cries of adulation rang out. She stood for a moment for effect, realizing she was no longer hidden out of view, then, if possible, stood even straighter and more royally. The faintest hint of a smile crossed her mouth, but her eyes made my blood run cold.
She began to walk down the red carpet towards us, ever so slowly, but so well-executed, moving so as to accentuate her presence by the flowing and reflection of the lights and camera's flashing on her royal robes. She upturned her face ever so slightly and moved her incandescent beauty from side to side, as one might imagine a slow wave on the sand so that all present could see how stunning she was.
Her eyes began to flash hatred and the smile increased, but no one noticed because of her beauty...she said in her heart,
"I was born to be queen! I was born to rule!"
Then I heard the Spirit of the Lord say to me,
"And so she shall for a season."
The flashes of the cameras were so constant, the shouts of admiration so constant, it was almost like fireworks.
She descended from her vantage point down to the mass of people waiting. She raised her arms and smiled fully.
There was an explosion and smoke; at first it seemed it might be just the cameras flashing, but the smoke cleared quickly. Her royal robes were instantly transformed into a combat fatigue uniform, a gun was in her hands, and bloody sword in the other hand. She shouted something in Chinese and began attacking the crowd. Screaming and bloodshed began, with explosions and chaos.
Then the vision ended.
I have only shared this with a few ministry friends heretofore--I have held this for over three years. Understand that I very much hope I am wrong. I believe the Lord is calling the saints to pray for the nation, our president, his cabinet, our military. Pray that the wisdom of God will prevail, not fear, not global pressure, and not worldy wisdom.
I do believe God-ordained prayer is not only protective, but preventative. From this point forward in the history of America, God will never redeem this nation again in secret, without getting the glory and credit. It is about to be made abundantly clear the United States will not be delivered by our money, military, or human wisdom and phony diplomacy, but by Him alone and the prayers of the saints.
The time is spent my friends and such events are forthcoming. I earnestly pray this nation will unify for the common good of us all. This prayer request is not a political statement, but a cry for God's help to guide and protect us. I know that Jesus will be glorified ultimately.
I would make the same request whoever was in office.
God has shown me the President is greatly beleaguered, between The Rock and a hard place, faced with impossible choices, none of which look good, and has a divided cabinet. There is treachery afoot in Washington! I have been led to pray the president will not sign any legislation which has hidden agenda and will be a curse in the near future.
The Lord has been speaking to me out of Amos 5. We believers need to perceive the pressure and deception of the anti-Christ spirit in our nation. Expect to see anti-Christian rhetoric and vitrolism become fever pitch by the next presidential election. We must be cunning as serpents and harmless as doves. Look at the following passage from Amos 5:10-15,
"They hate the one who rebukes in the gate, and they abhor the one who speaks uprightly. Therefore because you tread down the poor and take grain taxes from him, though you have built houses of hewn stone, yet you shall not dwell in them; yet you have planted pleasant vineyards, but you shall not drink from them, for I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins. You afflict the just and take bribes; you divert the poor from justice at the gate."
I believe this is an eloquent vignette of our stricken nation--now look at the rest of the passage which I have chosen to capitalize.
"THEREFORE THE PRUDENT KEEP SILENT AT THAT TIME, FOR IT IS AN EVIL TIME. SEEK GOOD AND NOT EVIL, THAT YOU MAY LIVE; SO THE LORD OF HOSTS WILL BE WITH YOU AS YOU HAVE SPOKEN. HATE EVIL, LOVE GOOD; ESTABLISH JUSTICE IN THE GATE. IT MAY BE THAT THE LORD GOD OF HOSTS WILL BE GRACIOUS TO THE REMNANT OF JOSEPH."
I believe with all my heart, we must pray, repent, turn our thoughts and words to God's Word and prepare for a shaking the likes of which this nation has not seen since the Civil War. I fear many of us are presumptous, self-willed, arrogant, pompous, filled with pride and religious spirits, and have no respect for any authority but our own. This is a season we must choose our words and battles carefully for our own protection.
The Lord has also been telling me to pray against pestilence, plague, and diseases. As I was praying, Habakkuk 3:2-5 came to me,
"O Lord, I have heard your speech and was afraid; O Lord revive Your work in the midst of the years! In the midst of the years make it known; in wrath remember mercy. God came down from Teman, The Holy One from Mount Paran. His Glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of His Praise. His Brightness was like the light; He had rays flashing from His Hand, adn there His Power was hidden. BEFORE HIM WENT PESTILENCE, AND FEVER FOLLOWED AT HIS FEET." (caps are mine).
I believe a judgment of plague is set for America. The Lord has been having me tell Christians not to fear disease, and to get ready to stand between the living and the dead and to proclaim the Name of Jesus, just like Moses lifting the bronze serpent above those bitten by serpents in God's judgment on rebellion in Numbers 21: 1-9.
I have been particularly led to pray against weird diseases springing up in the water ways of Florida--the Lord has been having ask for mercy against a bacteria which causes virulent infection and appears as a quarter-sized pustule.
CHRISTIANS, OUR ROLE AS INTERCESSORS AND DELIVERERS IS ABOUT TO BE DEFINED BY NECESSITY, NOT CONVENIENCE. WE ARE THE SALT AND LIGHT. DON'T BE AFRAID. READ ISAIAH 8--IF YOU NEED TO AFRAID OF SOMETHING, FEAR GOD AND APOSTASY.
As you pray, I would also urge you to take communion regularly, keep your homes covered, keep short accounts with God and man, deal with offenses. Pray that the love of the Truth will never depart from you or your loved ones--many weak believers are being pulled by the spirit of apostasy: this is the season of the Great Falling Away before the Lord's return. I want to remind you that our greatest sorrow and pressure in these Last Days will be those who harden their hearts forever to the Lord, and love a lie more than the Truth. For these, good is evil, and evil is good. Remember Pompei. PERSEVERE UNDER PRESSURE!
Pray saints! Pray!
